Fifty six ethnic groups, fifty-six flowers, the world open source is all as one just like fifty six nations are one. On November 28, 2019, Ubuntu Kylin, together with Tibet University, successfully held the "Ubuntu Kylin 19.10 release party - Tibet University Station" in Lhasa City, which has magnificent mountains and rivers, beautiful scenery as well as unique customs. The event invited Nimazaxi, Dean of the school of computer science, Tibet University, Jiang Jiang, senior manager of Sogou input method business department, Peng Xu, technical director of Kingsoft office in the southwest, and other guests to help, attracting more than 500 college teachers and students from Tibet University to participate, which is also the largest and highest altitude event in the 19.10 release party!

In the morning, under the leadership of Dean Nimazaxi, in combination with Kylin team, Sogou input method, Kingsoft WPS and other representatives, Qijun Zhao, vice Dean of the school of computer science of Tibet University, and relevant teachers, held in-depth discussions on the topics of cooperation and implementation technology of Tibetan operating system. After the meeting, Dean Nimazaxi personally led all participants to visit the information research center of Tibet University, and introduced the culture and scientific research achievements of Tibet University. 

In the afternoon, the release party was held as scheduled in the academic lecture hall. A one-on-one discussion between Dean Nimazaxi and Dr.Jie Yu, the head of Kylin desktop operating system, which is open-sourced. The background of the event and the basic information of all parties were briefly introduced. Then Min Liu, director of research and development of Tianjin Kylin and head of Ubuntu Kylin community, shared the theme "Introduction to the new features of Ubuntu Kylin 19.10", described the Linux background, the development process of Ubuntu Kylin and the new features of version 19.10, and introduced the UKUI desktop environment independently developed by Ubuntu Kylin team, the development process of UKUI, and the design concept and feature display of UKUI3.0.

Next, Jiang Jiang, senior manager of Sogou input method, and Peng Xu, technical director of southwest area of KingSoft office, also successively delivered keynote speeches on “Sogou input method - creating a new experience of Linux input method” and “product introduction of KingSoft WPS”. The latest version of Sogou input method and KingSoft WPS has been integrated in Ubuntu Kylin version 19.10, and will be in the following  UKUI3.0 version and Tibetan version. We will continue to deepen cooperation and perfect compatibility to bring users the best entertainment and work experience. 

This release party is full of real stuff, and naturally there is also an exciting lucky draw sessions.
